Organizing Print Media.
Our printed photos are in albums, in boxes, and in frames. The idea of losing our memories if these are damaged or lost can be terrifying. Curating, digitizing for backup, and getting these precious memories organized into your stories for sharing is my goal. The cost to get this done will vary, but we will work together to accomplish it.
Scanning.
Photos or items are scanned at high resolution and delivered on a USB flash-drive, external hard drive, and/or uploaded to a cloud service. Photos, slides, negatives, documents, and memorabilia can all be scanned. Getting items scanned into a digital format allows unlimited options for creating and sharing.
Organizing Digital Media.
Our photos tend to be scattered over many devices - computers, phones, hard drives, cloud services, and jump drives. I will gather your photos into one location, remove duplicates, and organize them into a simple folder structure based on our agreement and how you want your story told. How much this will cost depends on the number of devices and images, the level of organization you already have, and other factors we will determine during the consultation.

Old images may have faded or become “silvered”. Slides sometimes turn red as the chemicals used to develop them degrade. We can restore these so they become part of your story.

Converting tapes.
Old VHS and camcorder tapes are deteriorating at a rapid rate. Media we thought would last, like DVDs, are also becoming unreadable. Let’s get those memories into a safe and viewable format before they are gone for good.

Gone are the days of dimming the lights and watching blurry slide shows. Or struggling to get the VCR to show your tapes without all those wiggly lines and jumpy images. You can watch your home movies and photo slide shows on your smart tv or your computer or phone. As easy as streaming any other movie. Let’s get your videos and pictures out of your phone where everyone can enjoy them.
